California Skate School teaches you not only how to skate but how to love skating. Classes at CSS are structured so that you don't feel like you are in a class rather more like trying a new adventure. On your own, learning how to skate can be quite frustrating, risky and can have unsatisfying results. But taking regular lessons through CSS will propel you through skills (with practice) and can build your confidence and fitness levels beyond expectation.

California Skate School provides professional instruction in numerous skating disciplines. While the CSS is known for getting beginners rolling, CSS is now focusing on all levels of skating. With Brian Gallagher, the new owner, CSS is focusing its capabilities on teaching skaters of all levels and abilities from jamskating to roller derby, speed to tv stunts.

Brian is also beginning a 'Roll With Me' social/fitness skate in various cities in Southern California. So look for your local 'Roll With Me' locations. You will see Brian skating with numerous local skaters around your neighborhood. Grab your skates and come and join us.

All CSS instructors are certified through the USSG. California Skateschool instructors will teach you at your level. Our instructors break skills into simple steps so you can learn. You will not just watch and try to follow along. You will learn. Our instructors are patient and try to be entertaining, but most of all they love to teach.

California Skate School vans are equipped with Rollerblade inline skates for all levels, as well as, helmets, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads. All equipment is provided for your lesson free-of-charge.
